A righteous person may fall seven times, but he gets up again. However, in a disaster wicked people fall.

Meditation
Picture the tender scene of a child's first uncertain steps—a moment filled with both trepidation and triumph. Each wobble ends in a tumble, met with tears, yet with a gentle nudge of encouragement, they rise to try once more. This youthful persistence, born out of innocence and nurtured by support, is a picture of the spiritual resilience our Heavenly Father desires for us.
In the dance of life, we too often stumble—into mistakes, into sin, into the arms of old habits that refuse to loosen their grip. Yet, the voice of the Divine whispers to us in the midst of our faltering: "Arise." For the Lord perceives our falls, not with a tallying gaze but with the eyes of mercy that see beyond our failings. In His sight, our every slip is a chance to grow, a call to rise stronger than before.
It is not the church's place to cast shadows of shame upon our fragile spirits; rather, it is to echo the heart of God, who assures us that our transgressions are wiped clean, our slate made immaculate by His grace. He does not fixate on our past but fixes His gaze on our potential, urging us forward with a love that does not keep count of our stumbles.
Let this assurance fortify our hearts: the omniscient Father is already ahead of us, not as a sentinel of our missteps but as a beacon of hope, guiding us back to the path of righteousness with a nurturing hand. When He says to us, "arise," He is not simply bidding us to stand but to continue marching towards the light of His presence with the assurance of His unfailing love.

Prayer
Most Gracious Lord, Your sacrifice on the cross through Jesus Christ has lifted the burdens too heavy for my shoulders. With gratitude, I acknowledge that though I may stumble, I am not forsaken. In Your boundless grace, I find the strength to rise again.
Guide me, O Lord, through the trials and the missteps, and grant me the courage to press on without the chains of shame. Let me walk the miles needed, however numerous they may be, with the knowledge that my journey is not measured by perfection, but by the grace of sanctification at work within me.
I cherish Your mercies, fresh with each dawn, and Your love that knows no end. May this day be a testament to Your enduring faithfulness, as I walk in the assurance of Your promises. In the precious name of Jesus, I lift this prayer. Amen.
